Early in October, Marco and his first assistant traveled to Cambodia to photograph mine victims for the UN’s Mine Action Service.  The experience was, as expected, an emotional one — uplifting and devastating at the same time.  The photos — the second collaboration between Marco and the UN (the first was in Afghanistan) — are currently hanging in Phnom Penh during the 11th Annual Anti-Personal Mine Ban Convention.  In April, the work will travel to New York to hang in the UN during Mine Awareness Month.  For more information on the UN Mine Action Service click here or here.  To see the rest of the images, click here.
