A few weeks ago, Wayne jetted off to Rome to set up a show/event at an old warehouse at the top of the Spanish steps. The show featured numerous oversized images printed on butcher’s paper.  The idea, according to Wayne, was to combine fine art with materials that are considered “disposable.”  The show was a hit, garnering the attention (and attendance) of well-heeled arts patrons from the media and fashion worlds.

Last night, the images made their state-side debut at Staley Wise Gallery as part of their group show about the nude.  Titled, “Nude Interrupted,” the show also featured work by Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Michael Dweck and others.  Wayne’s photo of a man with his much younger lover, featured prominently in their promotional materials, including the cover of the invitation.

You can see images and invitations from both shows below.

“Nude Interrupted” will run through April 7th at Staley Wise Gallery (560 Broadway, New York City).
